“ Numero Uno taco place in PDC. We came here several times on the same trip. Every time there was a massive line into that dark alley way around the corner. Don’t worry though. You’ll be fine. The food just slaps, no matter what you ordered you can’t go wrong. Everything is so flavorful. The meat is juicy - probably because they’ve got so much turnaround, it’s always freshly made. ”
“ Hands down the best taco joint in Playa Del Carmen. I don't think anyone will be able to change my mind on this. On a previous trip, I ended up going twice within 3 days. On my most recent trip, it was the first place I went when I got back into town. Not only are the prices extremely reasonable, the flavours are unmatched. They just do it better at El Fogón. I personally enjoy getting a variety of tacos as opposed larger menu items (like quesadillas or burritos) because I like enjoying all the different flavours they have to offer. Their guac is also incredible. Don't pass up on their margaritas either - they're massive and delicious! I'm not lying when I say that I associate El Fogón synonymously with Playa del Carmen. I can't go to Playa del Carmen without El Fogón and I can't go to El Fogón without going to Playa del Carmen. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ Very good food and friendly, helpful service. We stayed at an all inclusive so this was a very welcome meal that was delicious. Portions are large and we over ordered. My husband and I could have shared our main dish with an appetizer. The sirloin was flavorful and tender. Al pastor tacos were also delicious. ”
